Last week I took a 3D printing class at TechShop in San Francisco. TechShop, according to their own website is: “a vibrant, creative community that provides access to tools, software and space. You can make virtually anything at TechShop. Come and build your dreams!”
When I signed up on January 1st, 2015 to buy nothing new for a year, my plan was to write a weekly blog and a book about the experience at the end of the year. I was concerned I might not have enough material, as it’s been so easy (so far). Then, last week, I found myself spending $150 at Target.
Last Saturday, Yerdle hosted their first ever conference: #YerdleCon. As somebody who is a big fan of Yerdle and reuse, as well as the only person I know who is living off Yerdle for a year (instead of shopping new items), I was very excited to go to this mothership conference.
